Who Loves Hip Hop? Ch-Check This Out!
Plenty going on in the world of hip hop around Sydney this week.
Thursday night at the Annandale Hotel you can catch Melbourne's Seth Sentry (pictured left). Triple J listeners would be familiar with his rhymes, quickly gaining fame with his breakout track The Waitress Song. Supporting Seth is Newcastle's Johnny Utah, as well as Drake, Phatchance and Coptic. Tix: $15 @ the door.
SMP's Gig of the Week
Ripping it up this Friday night at the Oxford Art Factory for by far the best value gig we've seen in a long time is Sydney's very own Spit Syndicate. They'll be supported by The Tongue, Chasm and Vida Sunshine. Tix: $13 @ the door.
But that's not all! One of the decades most talked-about hip hop artists of the decade Lupe Fiasco will be returning to our shores next year for a show at the Enmore Theatre on February 21. Tix on sale Friday, December 18 through Ticketek.
Remember to keep your eye on our Gig Guide for info on the best gigs around town each week.
